Introducing Our First Interchangeable Cushions

Beats 360 Performance Knit ear cushions in Pink, Volt, Cloud, Black, Sky and Navy

Multiple colors and materials. All made for Beats 360.

Beats 360 is the first headphone from Beats with interchangeable cushions.1 Extra Beats 360 Cushion Kits are available so that you can customize your look and feel.

Currently, Beats 360 Cushion Kits come in two materials: Performance Knit and UltraPlush. All the ear cushion options are built with the same acoustically engineered memory foam and shaped for an optimal seal.

Each Cushion Kit covers the earcups and the headband. The cushions are designed to come off and on easily, in seconds.

The second material is UltraPlush, sold separately as a Beats 360 Cushion Kit. UltraPlush cushions have a soft, seamlessly smooth finish and are also great for extended listening. UltraPlush Cushion Kits are available in Black and Cloud.

Every Beats 360 Cushion Kit includes cushions for both earcups and the headband.

Durability in every strand.

The Performance Knit design is breathable and constructed with a diamond-knit pattern, with 36 strong micro-threads in every strand to enhance durability and lasting comfort.

Engineered for the seal.

Beats 360's ear cushions are built from acoustically engineered memory foam and shaped to fit comfortably over your ears, forming an optimal seal for incredible sound.

Both Performance Knit and UltraPlush materials are wrapped around that same foam.

A Performance Knit ear cushion weighs 47.5 g and measures 86.3 mm wide, 38.4 mm deep and 96.6 mm high. An UltraPlush ear cushion weighs 45.0 g. A spare set of cushions can easily fit in a travel bag.2

Multiple ways to change the look.

Extra Beats 360 Cushion Kits are currently available in six colors with Performance Knit (Black, Cloud, Pink, Sky, Navy and Volt) and two colors with UltraPlush (Black and Cloud).

Volt and Pink are the bright pair. They add some energy and color to fit with your training gear, and they're easy to pick out across a gym floor.

Black, Cloud, Sky and Navy are the neutrals. They go with a work bag, a coat and most of what's already in any wardrobe, which is what you want on a headphone that comes to the office and stays on for the commute home.

Keep a second kit on hand and the headphones can change with your outfit or keep fresh after a workout.

The headband swaps out too.

The Performance Knit headband cushion weighs 11.4 g while the UltraPlush headband cushion weighs 12g. Both cushion types measure 130.0 mm wide, 30.0 mm deep and 46.6 mm high.2

The interchangeable headband cushion is there to help enhance comfort and complement the ergonomic arc of Beats 360. It's one of many ways Beats 360 is designed to disperse weight, optimize balance and stay comfortable.

Every Cushion Kit contains cushions for both the earcups and the headband.

A swap takes seconds.

Beats 360's ear cushions rotate counterclockwise to remove and clockwise to attach.

No tools are needed, and nothing is glued or clipped into place.

To remove the cushion, gently pull down away from the frame. To attach the headband cushion, simply align it at the attach points and gently click it into place.

Match the set to the session.

Performance Knit cushions work well for training, running, and the gym, and also ensure lasting comfort anytime, like while you travel, work or relax.

With its sleek, smooth finish that's soft to the touch, UltraPlush is great for extended listening sessions—like during a flight, your daily commute, or a long day at your desk.

Swap cushions for style, exercise, or any reason.

To get even more out of your Beats 360 headphones, an extra set of interchangeable ear and headband cushions is perfect. Maybe you'll want a fresh set of cushions after working out or going on a run. Maybe you like a variety of looks and textures to choose from. With Beats 360 Cushion Kits, you have the option for different colors to accessorize and match your personal style from day to day.

It's your Beats 360, so you get to make it your own. Customize it as much as you like to — even mixing up multiple cushion colors if you like. It's all up to you.

Cushions tuned to sound great every time.

Beats 360 is designed to maintain its acoustic performance across all cushion material options.

Sensors inside the headphone identify the cushion material and automatically adjust the acoustic tune across Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency and Adaptive EQ for a consistent listening experience.

And when powered on, a subtle tone indicates the successful attachment of each ear cushion, making swapping cushions even easier.

Keeping them clean.

You can carefully clean the ear and headband cushions of your Beats 360. In a clean container, mix 1 tsp (5 mL) of liquid laundry detergent into 1 cup (250 mL) of water. Remove the cushions from the earcups and headband. Dip a lint-free cloth into the soapy water solution, wring it out slightly, and rub the cloth on the cushions gently for 1 minute each. Wipe the cushions and headband clean with a separate cloth that's slightly dampened with fresh water. Dry the cushions and headband with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth, making sure to remove any excess moisture. Let them completely air dry before reattaching.
