Based in Los Angeles, the program offers college students a unique opportunity to create social media content featuring Beats’ college athlete ambassadors. As part of a program built around community and artistry, our creators will gain exposure to the tech industry and learn from top creative marketing professionals.

From September 23 to November 30, students will participate in a hybrid model of remote and in-person curriculum from industry leaders tailored to fit your busy schedules. Our creators will participate in online sessions regularly, in-person community events, as well as a film shoot on location with Beats’ athletes.

If selected for Beats Academy, you’ll receive the resources and support to help unlock your creative superpowers.

Who can apply?

College students, currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year program, with an interest in creating branded social media content. Students must be based in the Los Angeles area.

What is the program duration?

Beats Academy will take place over a 10-week period from September 23, 2023 to November 30, 2023. Public holidays will be recognized.

Is this a paid opportunity?

Students will be paid a competitive stipend for their time and creative output throughout the program.

How many creators will be selected?

15 students will be selected to participate in Beats Academy.

What makes Beats Academy a fit for me?

You’re a student looking for an opportunity to get hands-on experience working with seasoned marketing professionals and top college athletes. You also have a passion for creating content and a desire to learn.

Is this program virtual or in-person?

Beats Academy is a hybrid program. Up to three (3) sessions each week will be conducted virtually using WebEx. Up to four (4) sessions (including an in-person film shoot on a weekend) will require in-person participation in Los Angeles. Students must have access to transportation to the Los Angeles area.

Students on the Music Track will have up to an additional three (3) in-person sessions.

Students on the Customs Track will have one (1) additional in-person session.

If I am selected, what is the expected level of commitment?

Over the 10-week program, participants will be expected to dedicate up to five (5) hours per week (weekdays) for workshops and group sessions, as well as an in-person orientation on Saturday, September 23, and two days for the film shoot (a Saturday and Sunday).
