Rated 4 out of 5 by Gator1515 The most durable headphones on the market!
I purchased the Black And Red Lil' Wayne Beats Pro Headphones. They're an excellent piece of equipment! The construction is solid metal with comfortable leather headband and earcups that will last for many years. The sound is great and has wonderful highs and lows. The bass will blow you away; this is truly how the music was meant to be heard. The presentation of the headphones was great and definitely lets you know that what ever is in the box is gonna be great. My only cons are that there was the lack of a hardcase that came with even my studios several years ago. Instead you get a velvet pouch that lacks any organizational pockets even. Also the headband must be extended for the earcups to fold in meaning the adjustable slide must always be adjusted when you put the headphones on in my case as I have a smaller head that doesn't require them to be extended at all. Overall however I was very impressed and hope these last the test of time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Doktor Gil Looks can be deceiving
Okay since I saw the metal frame in these and the fact that they move back for dj'ing. They are sexy and comfortable to listen I just wish they can make the studio this nice... My ears don't get hot like the Studio does. It would make the piece a lot better if they made the extension a bit longer. I have a thick neck and the ear pieces end just under chin making it difficult to look down when I just want to wear them. Hopefully Dre takes this into consideration, give this exterior the performance the the beats have and make the audiophiles happy. I would recommend for professional use not so much casual because although it is better looking you music won't be as clear as the Studios.

Im realy sorry but beats studio offer better quality Beats pro got less low frequencies I mean if I compare them to beats studio they offer more "bass line" Beats pro are much more heavy but looks like 3 times more solid (I broke on off button in beats studio) also there is no iPhone cable on the box in beats pro... That sad. No more mute button in pro.... When I plug 2 headphones to beats pro the level of volume on them is extremely low. I think studio are better and the price... Ahh and pro's are uncomfortable :/

Rated 3 out of 5 by Professional player Nice, but not worth this much dough
Overall, I really liked this pair of headphones. However, there were a few drawbacks to this product, which I, because of the price, thought was going to be absolutely flawless and stellar. Yes the sound quality is a bit better than the studio's, but my studios are nice and light and do not hurt my skull after an hour of use. The studios also have a much nicer carrying case than the Pro's, which only comes with a cheap little fabric sack. If I pay over $400 for these headphones, I expect them to come with something that adequately protects them. My best use of the headphones right now are just short little periods of time in which I would like to listen to my music in exceptional sound quality, which these headphones definitely deliver.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JKL Not comfortable
The sound is good but the beats are overwhelming. Not comfortable. I can only wear it for about 30 minutes and it is very hot while wearing it.

When thinking about buying ProBeats by Dre, if you are looking for something with crazy bass and great volume, buy the BeatsSolo. Even though they are alot smaller, they sound alot better because they are tight to your ears and almost suction cup onto them and they can be worn for hours and hours with no problems. The BeatsPro's are nice but sence they are so big, they dont give you the same bass that the solo's would. They do get alot louder but just do not have the bass solo's do. And money wise, Solo's are diffenetly worth the money! Pro's are expensive and are GREAT and i have a pair of both but personally if you ar elooking for recording vocals go with Pro's but if looking for bass go with Solo's.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Wally Exceeded expectations, but has its flaws
Since I listen to a lot of music and partake in high risk activities, I bought these headphones because of their sturdy build and great sound quality. Though they have exceeded my expectations in sound quality and construction, they fail to be comfortable enough to wear for a prolonged period of time. In my opinion, this should also be considered in the design of headphones of this quality. Due to this, these headphones fall short of being great. They should seriously consider changing the design for the ear cups and make them similar to the Studio's.

Rated 3 out of 5 by HipHopSays She Ain't Heavy...She's My Headphones
One of the pros of the beatsPro is if someone decides to rob me of the headphones...I can always bludgeon them to death with the heavy headphones.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Domo-son! Sounds good but....
Sound great, look great but DESIGNED POORLY! Took off the ear cups for cleaning and they are practically IMPOSSIBLE to put back on! I'm at almost a full days worth of work trying to put the second cup on. Terrible design! They were uncomfortable until they are broken in as well. Also if you purchase these, get them in black. The white discolor fairly quickly
