Beats Academy London is a multi-day program featuring interactive workshops, masterclasses, and hands-on experiences to give students the tools to design and execute their own marketing campaign. The next iteration of Beats Academy London will be held from April 8-10, 2024. On Day 1, attendees will receive an introduction to marketing, participate in masterclasses on brand strategy and the creative process, and devise their own brand and go-to-market strategy. Day 2’s masterclasses will focus on media buying, influencers and working with global talent. Attendees will use these learnings to conceive and shoot their own brand campaign. Day 3 concludes with participants learning how to present their work, building a pitch presentation, and presenting their marketing campaign to leaders across Beats and Apple.

FAQ London

Who’s it for?

Students and people aged 16-21 with an interest in marketing and creating marketing campaigns. Must be based in London.

What is the program duration?

Beats Academy London will take place over 3 days from April 8 until April 10.

Will any expenses be covered?

Students will have transport provided from a set location to the academy venue and back on each day. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Where is the venue?

Beats Academy London is based at Battersea Power Station and Kings Cross.

What makes Beats Academy a fit for me?

You’re a young person looking for an opportunity to get hands-on experience working with seasoned marketing professionals. You also have a passion for creating content and a desire to learn.

Is this program virtual or in-person?

All 3 days are in-person.

If I am selected, what is the expected level of commitment?

Over the 3-day program, participants will be expected to dedicate up to seven (7) hours per day for masterclasses and interactive workshops, as well as a final presentation and mixer on the third day.

FAQ Los Angeles

Who can apply to the LA program?

College students, currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year program, with an interest in creating branded social media content. Students must be based in the Los Angeles area.

What is the program duration?

Beats Academy LA will take place over a 10-week period. Public holidays will be recognized as applicable.

Is this a paid opportunity?

Students in LA will be paid a competitive stipend for their time and creative output throughout the program.

How many creators will be selected?

15 students will be selected to participate in Beats Academy LA.

What makes Beats Academy a fit for me?

You’re a student looking for an opportunity to get hands-on experience working with seasoned marketing professionals and top college athletes. You also have a passion for creating content and a desire to learn.

Is this program virtual or in-person?

Beats Academy LA is a hybrid program. Up to three (3) sessions each week will be conducted virtually using WebEx. Up to four (4) sessions (including an in-person film shoot on a weekend) will require in-person participation in Los Angeles. Students must have access to transportation to the Los Angeles area.

Students on the Music Track will have up to an additional three (3) in-person sessions.

Students on the Customs Track will have one (1) additional in-person session.

If I am selected, what is the expected level of commitment?

Over the 10-week program, participants will be expected to dedicate up to five (5) hours per week (weekdays) for workshops and group sessions, as well as an in-person orientation, and two days for the film shoot (a Saturday and Sunday).
