Rated 3 out of 5 by WiKiD Love the sound, not the design.
The sound is FANTASTIC, however. The durability and 'noise canceling' feature, or lack there of, is something that needs to be worked on. I travel around the US for work and bought them specifically for the fact that they're supposed to cancel the sound of a jet engine. I agree, they do, but only because of the obnoxious hissing noise that they make. I didn't have this issue when I was home, only while I was in the air or in extremely loud surroundings.
The overall design is fair, but the metal rings around the muff seem to pop out with the slightest pressure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Williamator123 Very great sound, quality beats
Well they were definitely worth the $329. They look really good, sound is very clear and bass is satisfying. For durability, I don't like the flat case you collapse your headphones in. It's a pain to put them away, and i find the ear cups are out of shape when i open the case again, even following instructions. For comfort, they are more comfortable than other headphones, but they don't go completely around your ear and they are heavy, so if you bend over they slip. Found this annoying when I would be doing chores. I didn't like that they take AAA batteries, but I guess I got used to the idea. Cords are great, long and durable. Won't tangle in your pocket like other cords. These beats are great, but I wouldn't say they're perfect! But overall I love them and I'm happy with my experience!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rainman522 They were good headphones, but durability is an issue
I bought these in May to supplement my Bose QC-15s. My Bose didn't have the bass that these had for hip hop, etc. They sounded really good except for the hissing that the ANC creates. I only heard the hissing when no music was playing or during quiet portions of music. Unfortunate, but wasn't a complete deal breaker for me. The headphones were a little heavy over time, so I would recommend taking them off for a few minutes every hour or so. The look and feel of the headphones were just stunning. A beautiful design with the metal and soft leather like headband and pads. The pads were a little small for my ears, but not bad enough to make it uncomfortable.
The only issue I had was durability. I accidentally knocked my set off my nightstand onto a hardwood floor and they broke right where the cups fold from the headband. It literally just snapped right off. So unfortunately, this is not covered under warranty. To have something fall not to far and break the way it did makes it hard for me to recommend to someone, especially for $300. And especially since the new Studios (which I purchased with an extended warranty) sound much better, lighter and has ANC that does not exhibit nearly as much hiss as the Executives. And this is a shame, because I really did like my Executives.

I purchased these for frequent travel and noise canceling. The sound is distorted and has a painful feedback on the right side and both sides if I move even slightly. Noise canceling? Not so much. Very disappointed because I paid so much and love my ear buds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CaliforniaDoc They Look and Sound Great!
The grey Executives are by far the best looking headphones I've come across. And I've scoured the internets looking at thousands of different kinds, and for my demographic, (35 and above), these fit the bill perfectly.
They just look really sophisticated. That said, I would've liked the cables to have come in a more understated color, like black or grey, to match the overall look of the headphone. The red cable just makes it look...
To remedy this, I simply ordered a black cable from a third party. No biggie.
The sound is excellent as well. I listen to a really wide variety of music, and they all sound great on these headphones. I heard details in my old music that I did not notice before.
I will say this though, if you are not an audiophile, and are not aspiring to be one, don't let the negative comments about the audio quality sway your decision to get these. These will sound great to 98% of human beings who listen to them.
The noise cancellation is very good, but not the best out there. There is a slight hiss in the background but it is certainly not a deal-breaker by any means. When your music volume is above 40%, you will not hear conversations going on around you, and you will be left alone to focus on your music. Really good stuff.
The comfort on these things were bad initially. They made my ears and jaw hurt. After a weeks' worth of use, they have become far more comfortable. They can make your ears warm though if you use them in a hot environment.
Based off of numerous torture tests I've seen on a certain video hosting site owned by a certain search engine, (Beats won't allow me to say), the Executives held up very well. Meaning they will still work even if you drop them numerous times. But if you are the obsessive type who hates getting your stuff scratched and banged up, these may not be for you as they can show marks quite easily.
So there you have it. The Executives hit all the right notes in my book. They look phenomenal and they sound great to boot. They are an awesome pair of headphones.
As with everything, make sure to test these headphones out yourself and compare them to the other $300 headphones out there before making a decision.
Thanks for reading this far, and I hope you liked this review. Peace!

Rated 4 out of 5 by MindofIM3 Excellent Headphones
I'm not an audiophile by any means. Let me just get that out of the way. When I first saw the Executives I immediately fell in love with them and pre-ordered them. After watching some reviews on YouTube, I heard many reviewers say the Executive's active noise cancelling created a relatively loud hissing sound. Let me say this, the noise-cancelling on the Executives is very good. After I received headphones; to my delight the active noise cancelling's hiss was very faint. The hiss was not at all apparent to me, even on softer genres of music. For someone who has never used active noise cancelling headphones, it does take some getting used to, but nothing major. I realized how good the ANC was on these headphones after I had them on for a long 8 hour trip, the Executives remained extremely comfortable, while blocking out all ambient noise, and providing excellent sound quality. The sound quality on the Executives is excellent. Out of all other Beats products, I must say the Executives are the next best sounding to the Beats Pro. I was very pleased with the bass on these headphones, it was very deep and responsive without being overpowering. Mids and vocals were very present, and highs were very clear. I was very pleased with how clear the vocals were. I listen to all different types of music from R&B to classical, this headphone is very versatile and provides great sound quality to whatever type of music you want to listen to. My only small problem with the Executives is how the headphones fold up. It is a little bit awkward and a bit time-consuming. By that, I mean it takes a bit longer to fold these up than the Studios per-say just because of their awkward placement in the case. However, I love the design of the case, it is so flat, very compact, and convenient for throwing in any type of briefcase, backpack, or suitcase whenever you are traveling. So I can't be too upset about that. For someone like me who is a frequent traveler or just a person looking for a great pair of headphones the Executives are the headphone for you!
