Monday Motivation: Jasmine Harper

For Jasmine Harper, dancing isn't a hobby or a hustle, it's a lifestyle. She has spent a lifetime navigating through an interpersonal journey of sound, sweat, and intentional movement that can only be communicated through the expression of the body. She began dancing at the age of three where she naturally took to a variety of styles, like ballet, tap, and jazz to name a few. In 2018, Harper was a leading dancer on an iconic world tour and has since earned the reputation as one of the best in the industry. We caught up with Jasmine at a local LA dance studio and asked her about what keeps her moving.
"I'm a living witness that every little thing that happens in life is shaping you for the future and molding you into the person you're supposed to be."
"When dancing, I just let my body and the music talk to me. From there, I just let the choreography flow."
"Pain is weakness leaving the body. Remember that the pain that you're going through will only make you stronger in the end."
