All Gone: The Finest Of Street Culture
If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? If someone does something for the culture and no one prints it, does it really exist? In history, if culture isn't documented by those who create it, it's likely to get lost in the ether. Realizing this, in 2006 Michael Dupouy published the first edition of the first street culture almanac: All Gone.
All Gone is an annual publication that highlights the most sought after products in street culture. Everything from Original Fake Companions to A Bathing Ape Shark Hoodies. Michael personally curates the list then selects collaborative partners to create custom art work for the covers, photography for the selected products, and wordsmiths to craft the descriptions for each piece.
Beats By Dre partnered with Undefeated to host the Los Angeles drop of the 2016 All Gone book, which features the Powerbeats2 x UNDERCOVER collab . A custom Beats Pill+, inspired by Neil Raitt's cover art, was also revealed to commemorate the event. Shouts to the Undefeated crew, Anwar Carrots, Edison Chen, Paulo Wallo, and everyone else who came through to show some love.
"With the book, the main idea was to pay homage to those products that were the key products of the moment."
