Rated 2 out of 5 by Controls on cord do not work I have had these earphones for approximately 3 weeks, always good about keeping in the case. After a few times of use, would cause my iPOD to start reading off the song and playlist multiple times as I worked out, has finally stopped doing this, but now cord controls have stopped working completely. For $150 I guess I would have expected more, especially since they are fairly new. Also own Solo Beats, while sound is good as well, find the quality of the product is severely lacking. Rated 2 out of 5 by Must Purchase a Warranty plan of some sort if purchasing Overall I like the Fit and comfort of these over the Ear/in ear headphones and the sound is great. just a dissapointment that the inline control for volume and ect... Is very unstable with sweat when working out. I will be exchanging mine for the 3rd time If i didnt have the replacement plan I would be totally upset being that ive had these for only 3 months and on my 3rd pair!! October 26, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by form over function disappointingly I spent £110 at the airport on way to holiday in order to have a decent sound whilst running training for half marathon. the sound is superb! and when just sitting around the headphones are great but no matter which earbuds i used the buds just dropped out of my ears within 1000m running. Simply not fit for purpose sadly. now an unused expensive box on a shelf, very dissapointed November 6, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by This product needs to be more durable to protect from sweat. I bought this product in July 2013. I am a runner and needed headphones that would stay in the ear. This product provided good sound and comfort, but the remote stopped working and I could not control my music. Also, sometimes songs would change automatically. It could be because the product does not have good protection from sweat. If Beats improved the durability of this product, I would recommend it to others. I just contacted the warranty department and they were helpful. I'll see what happens next. December 19, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Excellent Sound poor Durability Recently upgraded to the PowerBeats when my UrBeats no longer worked after a year and half. Was looking forward to using my PowerBeats during my workouts. They offered great sound and comfort. When running the PowerBeats stayed in place and did not fall out as my previous Beats. Unfortunately the volume rocker no longer worked after a week and half. Returned them in exchange for a new pair. Within three workouts the volume rocker no longer worked on my 2nd set. The PowerBeats are described as sweat resistant, but found that is not the case and will return my 3rd pair in as little as two weeks. I would not recommend these for working out as they cannot withstand vigorous workouts. February 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by The earbud split in half after 1 month.. Great sound and operation features for 1 month. Then the earbud split when I pulled it out of my ear. Glad my adult children purchased the extended warranty. February 6, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I've had these earphones for about 7 months and the problems with them have added up over time. About 2 months after getting them the in-line controls stopped working and 3 months after that the paint started to wear off. To be honest I rarely wear them now; I have bought many products from Beats before and these are the only ones that have disappointed me so far. February 14, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by This product is not for sports I purchased these headphones just over a year ago so this review is based on real use for 15 months or so. I bought them for running and run maybe 15-20 miles a week so not a huge amount. I am now getting my third pair through the Warranty. That is great but that is not why I purchased these headphones - I wanted durable headphones with great sound. They have been really disappointing on the durability side and reasonable on the sound they produce. The Warranty will expire in 9 months and these headphones WILL break again - I have no doubt. There is a flaw with the ControlTalk mechanism as you run and sweat and sweat gets into the ControlTalk. I would expect these headphones at the price and advertised as Sport specific to last the course and these unfortunately do not. Really disappointed with the build quality and what happens when they break again after the 2 Year warranty expires? Beats - you need to fix the durability issue! February 18, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by $150 to break in less than a year I liked these earphones, they had good sound quality but not the best, the fit was perfect for doing sports wearing them but they are nowhere near durable enough for sports earphones, I had mine for 8 months but then I put them on and I couldn't hear any voices in my music and the sound was muffled, $150 wasted! Rated 2 out of 5 by Great headphones, but they don't last! I received my Powerbeats by Dre for Christmas of 2013. They had great sound quality and functionality while they lasted, which was about a month. After about a month, the controls went haywire. None of the buttons would respond to being pressed, but would instead randomly skip or fast forward songs, change the volume, and pause my music every ten seconds. The microphone also stopped working completely. I think its important that I point out that I only used the headphones during my workout and always stored them appropriately in their case after each use. Also the rounded ear clasp meant to hold them on your ears is clearly meant for men (with larger ears). I am a female with normal sized ears and they continually slipped forward during my run, requiring constant adjusting. My brother also had a pair for about 4 months before the right headphone went completely dead. These headphones are 0 for 2 in my book right now and for the price point I feel like they should be able to last at least through the warranty. April 23, 2014
