Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed in Beats I purchased these beats on on 5/6/14(Delivered5/9/14). I finally got around to calling beats today (6/12/14) to return them because they are not the most comfortable headphones in the world and I am told I missed the mark by 3 days. I realistically probably did not open them until the Monday after the weekend they were delivered (May 12). I even told the supervisor who i spoke with that I planed to re-invest in beats for a more comfortable pair of earphones, but the answer was still no. Additionally, I have been a Beats customer for years, I have a beats pill xl, studios, studio V2s, urbeats, tours2, and powerbears. I am a little shocked in their customer service and will have to recommend against this product, and any other beats product, solely because of the experience. June 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This product has no durability I recently bought a pair of these powerbeats and within one week of use the command button on the wire stopped working. Not only the volume +/- but the pausing or skipping button and microphone as well. I sent my original pair back thinking I was just unlucky but my replacement pair did the same thing but in only 2 days of working out with them. They are not swear resistant and now the actual headphones are started to sound weird and I've only had them for 3 weeks. I would not recommend these for someone trying to actually work out with them. April 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Designed Well for athletes Just had to return my third pair to the store yesterday. I am so disappointed in these earphones. Thought they would be the answer to my workout need for music and be able to take calls if I had to. But after one workout each pair of these earphones that I have exchanged(I've had the white ones and the black ones) stopped working correctly. The music still played but the push button control and the mike did not function correctly. I don't know if it is from sweat or all the movements from exercising but if they are going to be marketed to athletes then they need to be designed for athletes. We understand if things needs to be more robust so it can take the rigor of movement and sweating. Again I am really disappointed in these earphones and hope the design flaw would be fixed and someone will let me know when it is. at this time I cannot recommend these earphones especially for athletes that do a lot of sweating and movements during their workouts. Back to the drawing board......looking for a good workout earphone, any suggestions? July 11, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Awful! After 10 uses the earbuds had a mind of their own. They made my iPhone skip and go to Voice Control constantly! I tested the iPhone with other earbuds and without any earbuds and never had the problem. The on/off button control built in the earbuds started controlling the iPhone on itself, rendering them useless. DO NOT BUY May 5, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Good Sounds, Poor Quality I am presently on my third pair of Powerbeats and fresh out of the box the Control Talk didn't work. The other two pair merely couldn't handle working out the few times I did because of the Control Talk dying and killing the headphone it is attached to. I find it totally ridiculous that they couldn't handle at the most 15 work outs. I would definitely not recommend you purchase them. I REPEAT, I would not recommend you purchase them. Rated 1 out of 5 by Absolutely terrible. I had these for christmas 2011. I mainly liked them because they were sports earphones and they did what it said on the box, however, the wire coming out of the jack started to fray a little. I was quite concerned about this but i carried on using them around college. a week or so later, the cable started to fray a little more and then the left earpiece failed. I am furious about this product, didnt take much for them to fail. These are meant to be durable and long lasting, lasted me a month. Extremely dissapointed. January 29, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Garbage I was so excited when I bought these, but they were really just garbage. From the getgo, the mic and volume control didn't work with my Droid or iPad. As time went on, one ear would intermittently cut in and out. Eventually that ear stopped working completely. I took the wire apart to replace the standard mini plug with a new one, but the wire inside is so tiny that it is nearly impossible to even strip the wire. April 25, 2012
