I've had the white ones for almost a year and I haven't had ANY problems with them (except for some comfort issue) only up until now. The sliders for the ear cups begins to wear down and so it doesn't lock in place anymore, as well as the swivel joints. There is no more locking jerk whenever it get to a certain point in the swivel range. But most importantly, the head band is just plastic. A hard plastic but still plastic, no metal band. Over time, the plastic developed some hairline cracks that were faint but visible. I thought nothing of it, assuming there was a metal band inside to reinforce it....nope, I was wrong. Today just taking them off my neck, the head band snapped clean in half!!!!!!
The speakers and the cable running through it are still fine, but now they no longer sit right on my head. Rendering them useless....I was hoping to get another 2-3 years on them, but sadly due to today's events that will no longer be possible. This is really upsetting considering how much I spent on them and how much I loved them. I will be calling beats tomorrow to see what they can do for me. I still love the product, I just hope this is a rare enough occasion and I can get reimbursed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dr. Dre Great Sound but...
The Beat Mixr headphones have great sound quality but the comfort is just not there, the cushions are very stiff coming from owning a pair of Beat Solo HD headphones. Overall it hurts your ears after wearing for about 20-30 minutes, but other than that very good quality and great headphones

I love these headphones, even though after twenty minutes my ears start to hurt, but its worth the pain. One problem i have is the red band connecting the speakers to the headband inside is coming off, everytime it comes off i have to put pressure on it to put i back in its place, i have to keep repeating this process daily, looks likes you guys didnt put enough glue on this pair to keep it from moving,

Rated 4 out of 5 by @Moever_21 This is a amazing product though the comfort is a issue
Well I got my neon orange mixrs last friday and I have to say im impressed. They are very durable they are pretty fragile so im very careful because when you pull the strap down to adjust to your head size my hair got stuck well it get's stuck every time. The sound is very good it has great bass it's not just screaming into my ears it has high low bass i like that. They work with every thing i use them in rather the computer my phone or my ipod it all works. But i am having one issue the comfort I have my cartilage pierced and the headphone just arent suitable for it but i only have one side pierced but it hurts on both sides so i think they should fix there comfort level on these headphones. Other than that these headphones are by far the best headphones I've ever had I highly recommend them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jman97 Great Headphone with some minor downfalls
The sound is overall pretty fantastic. There are some areas I would have liked to see improved, such as I feel like the midrange still is slightly less detailed than it should be, and the highs sound a bit wooly and boring, but the bass is tight, controlled, and punchy. This is a huge improvement over some beats (like the old Studios and Solos) where the bass is bloated and muddy instead of tight and punchy.
Durability is great other than one part, where I have to dock off some of the points. The hinges slide down extremely easily. The headband is great, and I feel like the build is fantastic other than the slide thingys being too loose. I don't know if it's just my pair or if every pair is like that.
Comfort is probably the only main concern on the headphone. Personally, it isn't too bad for me, but in some instances the rotator has ripped off parts of my hair (yikes), and the pressure is pretty immense around your ears. I suggest stretching these out over a stack of a few textbooks overnight to loosen up the band and reduce the clamping force these give you. I wish beats had made the padding more prominent, but oh well.
Design really goes for itself. It's a beats headphone. It's got great looks and great features, the cables are fantastic and they include a 1/4 inch adapter, which is awesome because I can hook it up to my amp and play guitar on it.
Overall, great headphone with a few minor issues. Definitely near the top of what I've tried in this price range, not the absolute best, but some of the best. I highly recommend them, unless your ears are overly sensitive.

For the past two years I have purchased my son some Beats by Dre headphones. He love them. The problem I have is that they stop working to soon. Last year I bought the wireless Beats, and in six months they tore up. This year he wants the Mixr. I think they should last longer than six month since I pay so much for them. My son would recommend the beats by Dre to others.
