Rated 1 out of 5 by Just plain disappointed Even though it had a great sound and was the best over-the-ear fit I had for active-use headphones I was disappointed that I had probles with quality after only a few months. Button on cord became unreliable, extended cord was unusable after only a few months, right ear did not work after only a few months. I used primarily for working out and travel so it wasn't like I used them outside of what they are made for. I have $20 Sony headphone that don't look as nice but have lasted longer and work just fine working out. I don't mind the price of these but should last much longer. March 6, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible I use the headphone to travel around everywhere that i go and i haven't had it for a month and the left headphone is broken already. March 6, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not purchase I had to return this product twice to [@] within a year of purchasing it for various issues. The wire broke down and functionality was lost. Also the the sound and play and pause functionality stopped working as well. These headphones are extremely overpriced for the poor value. It's also evident in the prior ratings of others that this product should be pulled. April 9, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not worth it I bought a pair of these because I was sick of the other earbuds falling out. Well I got that part of it but the same day I got them the ControlTalk didn't work. Then after about a month the left speaker went out. So I kept them for the other speaker then that went out a week later. These are not worth the money. April 17, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible I was using it in my Tablet and my Tablet fell my cord bent and by trying to get it out I got stuck and now my beats our brokin and in my tablet I can not here any music. Horrible waste of money March 19, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Absolute [*] Absolutely a [*] purchase. I have owned three of these, each one both of the headphones themselves have blown out and no sound works. Mic also stops working if you sweat a little. February 3, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Designed Well for athletes Just had to return my third pair to the store yesterday. I am so disappointed in these earphones. Thought they would be the answer to my workout need for music and be able to take calls if I had to. But after one workout each pair of these earphones that I have exchanged(I've had the white ones and the black ones) stopped working correctly. The music still played but the push button control and the mike did not function correctly. I don't know if it is from sweat or all the movements from exercising but if they are going to be marketed to athletes then they need to be designed for athletes. We understand if things needs to be more robust so it can take the rigor of movement and sweating. Again I am really disappointed in these earphones and hope the design flaw would be fixed and someone will let me know when it is. at this time I cannot recommend these earphones especially for athletes that do a lot of sweating and movements during their workouts. Back to the drawing board......looking for a good workout earphone, any suggestions? July 11, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Where's the bass? I used to have a pair of Powerbeats back when they first came out. I loved them, but they were stolen. I just bought a new pair last night, and the first thing I noticed when I opened it was to horribly poor design. They felt so cheap and plastic, like kids earphones. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt on the poor design changes until I listened to them. It seems like the entire quality of the product was downgraded. The sound is cheap and no better than regular earbuds that come with phones these days. There is no bass and the sound is cheap and airy. I will be returning my Powerbeats and going with another product. Im upset that in the effort to update something, they made it worse. July 25, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Only worked for a short time I ordered the powerbeats. They worked well for music but began to not be responsive to the volume control then the phone function (microphone) began to produce a great deal of static. I returned them and received a new pair. The second pair worked well for three (3) days. I guess they don't like Sweat. I only wear them when working out so that is the only time they can be effected. Not a good product it they have to be replaced every two or three weeks. If it doesn't work, its not a good product. August 20, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Simply not durable and the sound isn't worth the price you pay. Little support. These are good earphones. But not premium. The sound is good, but not overwhelmingly so. They are comfortable and stay on your ear well for the most part. The controls and microphone are not durable at all. My microphone went dead after a short time and my in-line remote works intermittently. All this combined makes me regret my purchase and makes me wish I'd given more time to consider other brands.
