Rated 2 out of 5 by Ibrahim It broke in just six months
I don't recommend this one! It's a waste of money! Mine broke in just six months. I believe that's the maximum lifespan it is designed with... because I was told so before I bought it but then I didn't believe that. Now I really believe...It's an expensive toy that would last no longer than six months...
Quality of the sound is very good, I admit... But this plastic thing is designed for only six months, maybe sooner...

I got so excited when I got my first Beats as a gift to me. I was so ecstatic to have a headphone and a wireless one at that.
The best thing about this headphones is that it has controls on the headphones itself so I do not need to pull out my phone when adjusting volume or skipping a song. The battery life is also as good as advertised. The sounds are also good, I love hearing the bass when playing music.
Sadly, the headphones is not worth the price.
The downside of this headphones is that you can't use it for playing movies wireless. I need to make it wired so that there is no half a second lag during movie playback. When listening to music, this is not noticeable since there is no video. This makes the movie experience really bad so I have to bring my wires all the time if ever I am going to watch a movie in my iPad or iPhone.
The biggest disappointment that I have in such an expensive headphones is the build quality. If you read some of the comments, it is true that the headphones is very flimsy and could easily break anytime. My headphones is only more than half a year old but it looks like the area near the extension of the earcups is going to chip out. Don't get me wrong, I take good care of my Beats since it is very expensive headphone. But it looks like no matter how great I take care of it, it feels like it is going to breakdown anytime soon.
If only I could have my money back or have it replaced, I would. I expect that since this is THE Beats, and for its price, that the headphones would last with me for a very long time. Sadly, I think this headphones would not even last a year.
I would recommend looking at the other models instead of this one. The build quality is not worth the price. If you love your money, settle for something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Lillykvit Great until they both broke.....
These are awesome headphones and I absolutely loved them both. I bought one set when I went off to college because it was easy to use, and they blocked out the noise of other people when I needed to study. The first pair broke after about 2 months at the joint where they fold in, so I saved up and got a new set. Just today they broke as I put them on after leaving a lecture. They are amazing quality for sound, but honestly the durability needs to be better if you are going to pay this much. I don't even know where to get replacement parts or how to fix them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Fyue Nice sound. Poor construction.
I purchased a pair of the Beats Wireless to use for my music as well as make calls on, while eliminating the cord. The headphones worked great for a month until the headband snapped as I was putting them on. I was always careful with the headphones and stored them in their carrying pouch.
I got them replaced at the point of purchase and was extra careful with them for the next 11 months, when they snapped again in the headband at a different point. This time, I returned them at the store for a refund. I have replaced them with another high quality bluetooth wireless headset and I am much happier.
The sound was nice. I love the bluetooth connection and eliminating the cord. The functionality was nice, but for the money paid, it is not worth it for me to baby such a fragile item only to have it regularly break. I am just happy that the store I purchased the item at was willing to give me a refund on my purchase for such a poorly manufactured product.

Beats will break with in 6 months if you have them return them with the warranty because once they break at the top your screwed , and also Bluetooth likes to cut off and stop playing your songs it does it all the time does this a lot no matter how well you take care of these beats there no good far before 1 year of using

My wife bought me these headphones because they were nicer then the boss and I see many people with beats by dre headphones. She bought me these for Christmas I was excited and they worked nice with my iPad 2 but 2 weeks later I pair with my iPhone 4 and the music sounded like a record that was scratched. I was frustrated wanted to smash them because I said we pay $300 and I'm having problems. I try to use them today and they don't even turn on they have only been used for 4 hours and now I have to rush to best buy to return them and get the ones I thought would be better quality boss. What a waste of time and frustration .

It worked great for a few weeks but now it just does not power on. It shows the green light when it is fully charged but does not power on. I read some reviews of other people having this problem and just wanted other people to know

Rated 1 out of 5 by 06lilred06 Break easily
I wanna start off by saying I take extremely good care of $280 purchases like these headphones. I've gone through a total of 3 pairs of Beats Wireless headphones. On my first two pairs, the left hinge broke and on my third pair, which I'm about to return (again#, the top right of the headband broke. I HAVE NEVER ABUSED MY HEADPHONES. NOT ONE DROP. They have great sound, but if you wear them with only one ear #sometimes I put the left ear cup behind my ear), you get problems similar to mine. If I could return these and buy the Beats Mixr, which are much better for one-ear listening, I'd do it ASAP.
