Rated 5 out of 5 by Randomlyset Epic - Awesome Quality
I purchased my Studio 2s whilst visiting NYC back in November 2014. I got them from the Beats store on Greene St - the staff were great.
The build quality is excellent, the sound sounds great and the exterior noise cancellation is awesome. I have even worn these whilst out running, and rather surprisingly, they do not feel too heave or cumbersome.
To anyone who says that the sound is too "bassy" or anything along those lines, I would beg to differ and advise that you look at your EQ settings.
My preferred genre is/was hip-hop, rap etc - and whilst these headphones may have been developed with that kinds of genre in mind, they are also great for other types of music.
For example, as I have got older I've started listing to other genres and artists such as Lana Del Rey, London Grammar and Bruno Mars. And the quality of sound is epic - you can hear things you may not normally hear. Which IMO, goes to show that these are not just about the bass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Samuello Lot of money lot of music
So I bought them on my vacation in Vegas Apple Store and I´m very satysfied about the comfort on the head and the sound... I think there have to be much more color variations but they are very good designed... And I have absolutely no problem with durability... Worth it

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ricky23red finally a headphones that meets every expectations
I own the original beats Studio and I bought the New beats Studio 2.0. I figured I would try them out. Just looking at the New packaging had me curious. As I opened the box I found that these were really packaged well. The carry case for the headphones are made of a harder more protective material. At first glance of the actual New Studio i could tell by the ultra glossy finish and the flawless re-design that my every expectation would be met. Further into unboxing all the contents my beats experience was about to begin. The three cables included are; usb charging cable (to attach to any usb port or connect to the included wall charger adapter), remote talk control cable and a standard 3.5 audio cable. Also, no need for batteries ever again due to the new studio rechargeable battery that when fully charged allows up to 20 hours of use. And for us forgetful people, there is no need to worry about turning your beats off because they power on when the cable is attached and power of when the cable is detached. These headphones are lighter in weight then the older model with a much more comfortable fit. The sound is truly AWESOME! Having a music background, I have engineered and mixed hundreds of songs thru my career so even tho I purchased these for entertainment purposes, I was still very critical with my choice of product. Already a lover of beats products I was completely blown away with the sound delivery of these New Studio. My music collection includes Hip Hop, Rock, Pop, Country, instrumental Movie Scores and more. Every detail is heard in every categoryf of music. The bass is perfect. No distorted or muddy low end here. Very smooth mid levels and crystal clear highs. You finally get what you pay for with the new Studio 2.0. This product is an investment that you will enjoy from opening the box to using the headphones. I have not just a moment but a overall musical adventure with my New beats Studio. When I'm finished using them for the time being I actually look forward to using them over and over, again and again... I recommend that any and all music lovers around the world treat themselves, like I did, to a pair of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nash A true collectors edition premium headphone. Stan says Unite !
This pair caught my attention due to its commercial featuring eminem's new single Berzerk. I was looking for new entry level audiophile headphones. It was a First world necessity for me to buy great phones before eminem drops his another single. I am not a huge beats fanboy but i took a risk and gave these a try (having the logical choices of Sennheisers, audio technica and beyerdynamics etc), and i guess i am sure i wasn't wrong. These babies arrived soon and boy they look top notch. Light as they are... you hardly feel you're wearing them due to the soft memory foam lining. The noise cancellation is studio grade and competitive to the same level variants. The soundstage is super wide. I almost feel the rumble of helicopters and landslides on netflix quality (bad) shake my senses = meaning the HW audio processor is really doing its job well here. The glossy plastic band is a fingerprint magnet but manageable. Innovative and useful features introduced in this version are click to fade music to mute and shut off the ANC (auto noise cancellation), the energy fuel meter, micro usb charging and 20hrs playback life. Its an absolute bliss to own these. I am hearing my whole music library, testing every small sample over last few days, waiting for driver burn in. (although its not noticeable, still :P)
if you are thinking its worth your $300? I bet it is. Unlike any other experience, try them and sit back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tanuke123 Awesome Headphones
I got these headphones the red color and they look AMAZING. I accidentally dropped it and NOTHING happened not even a scratch. The comfort is very comfy (maybe the most comfortable Beats) and the sound quality is really good. When I wear it I can't hear the outside noises so the noise canceling works amazingly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HEADPHONE! ( also the red color doesn't leave fingerprints and I recommend the reds)

Rated 5 out of 5 by RaymondtheWolverine amazing sound, very comfortable, LOVE the ANC.
absolutely love the ANC system in the studio headphones, makes music more enjoyable, and makes for a much quieter world regardless. very durable design, don't mind changing batteries too much, i usually have at least one set on me anyways, and its a quick change. though the talk/control cord might have some issues, buttons and microphone ceased to function at all after 4 days of MINIMAL casual use, otherwise, these headphones are PERFECT. i just wish the NEW design had more colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by raulatino Awesome headphones, love 'em!
These are my second beats headphones and first Studio's! I had always thought of getting them before but never did, I'm so glad that I waited because these new redesigned ones are amazing! They are much sleeker looking and I love the built in rechargeable battery feature. They sound awesome, I can hear things in my music I never heard before. Some people say that the noise cancellation makes a "hissing sound" but mines don't do that. They are lightweight and are extremely comfortable. From the moment I unwrapped the packaging and unboxed them, I fell in love. I like and enjoy everything about them: design, battery life+++, comfort, and SOUND! If your debating on getting them, I suggest you do so because they may come at a premium price but YOU ARE getting a premium product! Hope this review helps anyone in doubt!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ferrari Fast Carlos Spot on for Athletes!
I am an athlete and all I can say about these headphones, are that there are no other headphones on the market that look as good and play music as good. These are the ultimate headphones for athletes. I got the red Studio's and it is spot on, on the color scheme and look. It is a little flashy, but they are my school colors and my favorite colors. After a reasonable amount of time listening to these, they are super comfortable on the ear cups, but they could make the headband a bit more comfortable. I still get an ache on my head after 45 minutes. I love the added features of the lights, the button fade out, and the fact that you can charge the headphones itself. The sound is way more balanced from the old Studio's (I use to have them) and I recommend these to listeners of a wide range of music. I also think they made a considerable improvement on their leakage from the ear cups. Overall great headphones, great and balanced sound, good looks, not cheep feeling, and worth the 300$ for the high tech features, looks, and sound. The only cons I seem to notice is that the usb charger chord should be just a little longer, the ear cups can cause a little irritation to the ear when you have big ears (like mine), and the headband could be a lot comfier.
