Rated 3 out of 5 by monstermark Great Sound, But Not Perfected
I've had them 14 months.
They worked well for 12 months:
Now the left side only works when I apply pressure to the phone-side jack, which is a big
The control buttons on the chord do not work with my Droid DNA which has built in Beats Audio.
They become uncomfortable after about 30 minutes:
There is too much pressure on my ears, as well as the top of my head where they rest,
despite the cushioning.
The sound quality is great, as well as the noise-cancelling.
My main issue with the headphones is that they only half work now, after just a year, and they were $200. This makes me hesitant to buy a new pair. I love the sound though.
However, I do not recommend this product, as the pressure on the head and ears makes them difficult to use for any extended amount of time. I do not own the Studios, but I have to believe they would be more comfortable. If you must have Beats, and have the extra $100 to get the Studios, I advise buying those instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 They're not worth 200$
Ok so I have both the Beats by Dre Solos and and a pair of Skullcandy Skullcrushers over Ear Headphones that I got for a gift, these were only 109:99. Personally I like the Skullcandy better because they cover your whole ears and have great bass. The Solos that I bought for 200 were not worth it. They hurt your ears. They're over priced, and they slip of your years really easily. Now if you have more money I would buy the Studios or even the pros. My best friend has the studios and he lets me use them and those are worth 300. I will probably get them soon. But I would not waste my money again on the solos.

Although the sound and design of this product is nice, I don't believe the product is durable. The most common breaks I've seen is where the beats snap close to the foldable area or the headphone pops out of the frame due to a simple drop. I find this to be very bothersome. The product is well-made. I wouldn't recommend this product to careless people who are not responsible enough to take care of these delicate instruments. Someone that works or aspires to work in the music industry should definitely own a pair of Beats.

I got my Solo Beats in Purple, "JustBeats", and it has been only 2 weeks and they already broke. It happened when I took them out of the case and placed it on me. As I put them on my head I heard a snapping sound. I took them off to see that my beats had just snapped. Its not in two pieces, but now I can't use them because it won't stay put. Im VERY disappointed because it cost me about $200, which was a waste. It has great audio but its made with no-so-good material. If you buy Beats DO NOT buy JustBeats (the purple limited time edition)unless you get the protection plan. If by any chance there is a way to fix or replace mine please inform me. No, I unfortunately do not have a protection plan because I don't tend to brake things so I thought I wouldn't need it.

These are not loud at all, don't block noise, and aren't very comfortable. Instead save you money for studios, they are very good and do almost everything the solo hd cannot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by pocketblock Don't overuse them if you don't have a receipt
When I first got them I thought they were amazing however after 11 months the speaker in the left earcup died -_- and I received them as a gift through the mail so I don't have a receipt. I really wish that they would make these a little more durable so that you can use them constantly without the speaker DYING ON YOU!

These headphones are like mini studio's. They are annoying to me because they are on-ear headphones. They are also to easily seen and are very common around people. They are good but not by favorite
