Rated 3 out of 5 by Cory Great headphone but Broke =(
They were a huge step up from my tours but they didn't last very long, only a month. I not going to buy them again but thats because im going for the pair thats least likely to break, the pros, there a little more expensive but better sound, and will last WAY longer... i hope. I would recommend the solo HD's but only if they have the warranty witch i didn't..

I loved these when I first got them a year ago as a gift. They sound awesome, but other than that there is not much to be satisfied with. I used them only for studying and traveling, and when they were not being used they were always in their case. They started to fall apart 6 months after I bought them. The cushion on the over the head part of the headphones came off, then the auxiliary cord fell apart, and now the left speaker is blown. I don't listen to them obnoxiously loud constantly but just like every one who enjoys music, it happens every now and then. If you are looking to buy beats by dr. dre I would recommend the studio beats. They are much more comfortable and for the extra cash the quality is definitely worth it. They are much more comfortable. The studio HD make my ears sore after awhile because they are "on ear" headphones.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Music Man Did Not Meet My Expectations
While the Solo HD headphones are sylish lightweight compact and easy to use, the real reason any one buys headphones is for the quality of sound that headphone can produce. This is where the Beats were lacking... Sound quality. Heavy bass does not make up for clarity of sound. Especially when the heavy bass blows out the speakers after two days of minimal use at appropiate volumes (this happened to me).

Rated 3 out of 5 by Owen Issue with 100% volume
Use them for relaxing. Just felt bad after 2 days of using it and i noticed that right ear whacks with some song e.g. "heartless" by lil wayne. Try it at 100% volume.

Very sleek looking headphones. Very good sound and portability but the pros end there. These are very uncomfortable to wear for longer than 20 minutes. Go ahead and buy studios. These have amazing comfort and the noise canceling ability.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tristan Not worth the price
The headphones are okay, but for the price I paid they're a complete waste of money. Firstly the quality isn't as good as I was expecting. Yes there is more bass, but that's the only difference between these headphones and an ordinary pair of standard headphones. Secondly the sound leakage is terrible. I'm listening to music, and everyone around me can hear what I'm listening to, so I have to lower the volume. Lastly, I get a crackling sound from the cushion on the right side of the headphones. This is very annoying because when you put the headphones on, it makes the worst crackling sound ever. Overall I think these headphones are a waste of money, and would strongly advise against purchasing them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DJ Valentino Not worth [$]
Well the bass is good and everything and lightweight and compact but the bass is to overpowing thats muffling the sound at a certain volume. Even with EQ i couldnt fix the sound bottomline is these sound like 80 dollar headphones than [$] and even on some solo the hinges are uneven and broke on me withing 3months overall not satisfied and got SL150 those are far better sounding compared to this junk

Rated 3 out of 5 by nickname Bad Price for Mediocre Quality
When I got them I was so excited, but I ended up being disappointed because of their quality and performance. The bass is really good, but in my opinion, it hurts your ears after awhile. The overall sound is okay besides that. The style is great if you want to show off. The comfort level of the headphones hurts my ears after they've been on awhile. I feel pressure on the top of my head and around my ears. Your ears start to get red and hot and you can hear the blood pumping through if you have no no music on. Overall they aren't worth their price.
