Rated 3 out of 5 by veery good sound but extreemely fragile HeyI bought the beats cause the sound is incredible awesome and the design isnt so freaked out or nasty like other headphones. Now I have the beats solo hd, the sound is awesome and the design is hard to top. But there's one thing why I would NEVER EVER buy them again. ****This [*] flimsy/fragile construction******Everytime my friends or anyone else want to check out my beats, I have to tell them that they must handle it really carefully because the construction quality is so miserable. In 2 months of wearing them I had maany problems, although I am very careful with them. My friend has also the same problem like me, so its not a individual case.A real disappointment when you think of the price ([$] :O )so when I can't change them warranted, and they are broken... I will maybe buy his older brother... the REAL beats by dr, dre ^^ December 17, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Pretty good! Let's start with the good on the Solo HD. The point of these are for on the go wear. They are light and small which is great for this purpose. The sound quality is great! Unfortunately not NEARLY as much bass as the solo. The headband has a new sturdy metal thing in it so they are MUCH less breakable than the old solo's. The original solo's are made with this new headband too so overall good construction except for the fact that the are small at the speakers when not on your head. This causes pressure to be put on your ears, especially the back of them because they stick out. So if you are just wearing them for an hour or so (which is what these headphones were made for), this won't be much of a problem I've worn $80 headphones more comfortable. The earcups are VERY soft and smooth, but the top piece on your head is rubbery and just not very soft but that wasn't even a problem for me. I returned these and bought the Studio Beats and I'm MUCH more satisfied. Overall, these are great headphones for the on the go consumer because he won't use them longer than 2 hours which is when your ears will start to hurt. January 6, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice Sound, Uncomfortable Sound quality is ok for the price, but I feel uncomfortable after wearing them for a while. February 13, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice Sound, But Bad Quality I was soooo happy when I received these headphones in the mail but in less than a month they broke on their own. I have NO IDEA how .. I just put the headphones on one day and saw that they were broken. I WAS SO MAD because I had just bought them, and let's face it these headphone are not cheap. The whole fact that I have to send them in is the problem because I feel like I shouldn't HAVE to send them in period. Besides, after a year the warranty runs out and if they break I'm going to be even more mad. The sound quality is WONDERFUL but the built is TRASH. Why pay so much if they're going to break so quick. If you feel like taking a chance go ahead and buy them. February 14, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very Good Bass Idk if it was just my set but sometimes it feels like my left earcup is working better than the right and vice versa. Also the pads on my set are a little crooked. February 28, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed with Control Talk. Massive Improvment needed for the control talk facility, for the price you pay, you would think the control talk facility will be compatible with every latest MP3's and Mobile Phones. i dont think that's too much to ask, I own a blackberry torch 9800 and the control talk is incompatible with this model. very disappointed. Rated 3 out of 5 by Bit of a let down Not a bad sounding headphone but the quality of materials used and the construction of them just doesn't justify the price tag. After a couple of days I noticed a buzzing noise in the right earphone which seems to be getting worse. March 7, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by could have done better i would say that they look amazing and bring out the real quality of the music.. but, i think it could have been a lot cheaper. Is it worth it? i don't know. if you enjoy music.. maybe! March 7, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by okay headphones the product was too expensive for me however the sound is good. After a while it losses the effect you hear when you put them on for the first time. After hearing this dullness I feel like some very cheap headphones can completley out do it. If you want the real sound quality save your money for the studios. I have a pair and they never fail to impress me. The main thing I really liked were the look of the headphones, and the comfort. I sat on a plane for 6 hours and I did'nt need to adjust once. It felt great. March 20, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by "Don't buy because there Dre's!" This is a great product: lightweight, great sound, and portable. My only opinion about these headphones is the price off this product is a little too high! But, when it comes to walking in plubic the NAME does its job! May 9, 2011
