Rated 4 out of 5 by Warlock Decent Product
I got the Solo HD's in green for christmas, and I have to say they are decent. Sure, you can find better headphones for the same price, but I think Beats strong point is their brand, and features. I've owned them for almost a year now, and have had no problems so far with wear or tear. I wear them a couple times a week, for a few hours straight. The comfort is pretty good for roughly an hour, after that, you need to take a 5 minute break since they feel a little bit tight on your ear.
Sound quality is decent as expected. 200$ sound? No. But the bass is really clear, with no distortion whatsoever. Mids sound good, but can be a little bit more precise. Sometimes I worry about the highs, crackling the speaker a little bit. But haven't had many issues so far (I mostly listen to dance/club music anyways)
As for style, I think the Solo HD's look great for on-ear headphones.
The only downside I have, is the price. I wish they'd keep the price at 179.99, instead of ripping us off at 219.99. I was lucky to get mine in the states, but I don't recommend buying them in Canada unless you get a good deal, since they raised the price by 20$ in the last year.
Overall, if you have a 200$ budget for headphones you'll wear casually around the house, or on road trips, I recommend the Solo's. If you're into the noise cancelling, I'd save up the extra 100$ for the studios or executives. And if you're ready to get a headphone that will last you for the long run, save up for the pros.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AxL1221 The cups
I like how on the solo's the cup goes outside of your ear, I'm going to be upgrading soon because the headband cover came off on both of my solo's. I dont know what one's to get I'm looking for bass and comfort. I'm debating on New studio's, Mixr, Executives, or Wireless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by kiki99 disappointed on bass and not compatible with android phones
I love these headphones!! They are amazing, the design is cool but really mad about the bass quality on android phones...they sound very good on apple products, which isnt fair. Beats by dre need to step their game up and make their headphones compatible with all phones!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by adrmerzar Excelent sound, cheap plastic
I bought this headphones a year ago and the sound is the most amazing thing thata i´ve ever had in my ears. But there is a problema, you can´t pull them so hard to fit in your ears, you need to "barely-fit-it" beacuse i tried to put them normally and they broked in two :(
Beats must invest more in a better plastic, but the sound is outstanding!

Rated 4 out of 5 by andrade_philips GREAT HEADPHONES
The sound in this thing is amazing, i'm in love. The only con that i've found is that the mic isn't compatible w/ my Lumia 1020. Why?

Rated 4 out of 5 by s... great sound, bass is not the greatest
I truly love the sound quality of the beats especially whilst listening to music with very deep bass. However, a problem that I am having is that the bass is more over powering on the left ear and quite weak on the right ear. Overall the beats are a great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nick_55 Great but one flaw
I fell in love with these headphones ever since I got them. A great duo of sound and style. The sound has heavy bass so if your not into that they are not for you. They look great maybe a little too small and they feel like a toy. The one thing wrong is that after about 3 months you might start hearing a static like sound. I don't know if it's wear and tear or it's normal, but I wish it could be fixed so I can enjoy my music the way I have been.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LisaMT24 Excellent but Cable won't connect properly
I bought the Solo HDs when they first came out. Best sounding of all I compared and most comfortable. I wear them easily two to three hours a day, listening to everything from classical to hip hop. But now the cable won't always make a connection in the left speaker, so I either get no sound or far away tinny upper ranges only. I have to fight and fiddle with the cable where it plugs into the headset. Sometimes I just give up and go without my music fix for the day. That makes me grumpy!
