Rated 4 out of 5 by KatnissGW Great Bass
To start off, the bass on these headphones are AMAZING. Very clear sound and not too overpowering.
When I bought these, the only concern that I had was comfort. Fortunately, I found that these are perfectly comfortable on my head. I have noticed some people think that the comfort is lacking but I have not experienced that.
The only thing that could be improved is the clarity of the actual lyrics, but other than that, the mixrs have great durability, bass, comfort, and design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KopactiK Best DJ headphones I have ever owned, hands down....
First with the ONLY con: Not the most comfortable over-the-ear headphones on the market. However, the slight initial discomfort is not worth passing these headphones up...TRUST ME ON THIS...its just like any item you wear on your head that fits snug, it just takes a minute to get use to. There is no pain involved, just getting use wearing them.
PROS: The sounds on these headphones is phenomenal!! The range is accurate and the bass is deep, tight, punchy, and accurate. You will hear the details in music that you probably wouldn't have realized are included in your favorite tracks.
They are the sexiest looking set of DJ headphones and are light and compact.
Durability is not an issue, these things seem to be bomb proof. The metal/composite construction are tough and will withstand anything you can throw at a pair of headphones. They fold up small and are easy to case up and go. The detachable cables can be connected to either ear phone which is good when your computer/crossfader port is situated to your left or right side. Also comes with a coiled cable specifically for when you spin.
Endstate: These things simply knock. They are accurate and they do the job with style and durability. The finer things in life are not cheap, if you are going to drop cash on a set of DJ headphones, don't let the Beats by Dre haters keep you away from the MIXR's. Whoever designed these is or was at one point a DJ, and they made these for DJ's in mind...

these mixrs have very good bass along with design. but they do have a comfort problem. they tend to squeeze your ears to where you don't want to wear them anymore.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ATH FTW Great, but.......
These headphones are superb, no doubt. They are by far the best sounding, and in my opinion, best looking pair of Beats Headphones on the market. The only problem is that the metal inside the headband is much too stiff. And I have found the stretching overnight idea to be unsuccessful. Also, at least on my headphones, one earcup is significantly quieter than the other. And I have double checked this by flipping the headphones around so that the left earcup goes to the right ear and vise versa. I have owned these headphones for about 1year, however i have had multiple replacements in the past due to speaker problems, and the daisy chain feature does not function properly anymore. Please fix this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by AMaddux1212 Very Impressed, Better than expected.
I got my Neon Blue Mixr's in September for my 14th Birthday. I use them heavily, and they are in pristine condition. The sound is great, excellent Mids, Bass, and Treble. My Mixr's did well with every genre i threw at them: Dubstep, House, EDM, Pop, Rock, and Rap. I mainly listen to EDM, and David Guetta, so these headphones fit my style. They are not the most comfortable for some People, but for me, they don't hurt that much. My head is small, so it doesn't really hurt. These headphones impressed me a lot, as my friends said they weren't good. Very good, I recommend them. A little pricy, ($250 Dollars), but totally worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JamieUppDown Goos except for a couple things.
I own a pair of neon blue beats mixrs and i've had them for just over a week now.
Lets start with the good things about these headphones. They have very good bass. At first, the mids and highs sounded poor the first few times I tried them, but now they sound amazing. The design just look so cool. Especially the blue design for my headphones. They are very durable and much stronger than the solo HD's.
Although I do have one minor problem and one medium problem about these headphones.
The hinge on the left side of my ear is very loose. Fortunately, i got a pair of pliers to screw it in tighter. That kinda solved the problem but there still pretty loose. The other problem I have with them is the comfort. These squeeze on my head really tight and every 20-30 minutes, they begin to hurt my head a bit, so I have to take them off my head for a few minutes before I put them back on my head. Although when I'm taking like a walk to the park or walking and walking back from school, It doesn't hurt my head but I still take them off occasionally because my ears sweat in them after a while. Although the thing I like about them being tight on my head is that the don't fall off my head as easy as headphones like the solo HD's.
If you guys make a newer model of the mixrs one day, make them less tight and more comfortable, possibly closer comfort to the new beats studios.

Rated 5 out of 5 by IIISAIAI I These incredible headphones sound so good - it hurts.
This review of the MIXRs was written after six months of ownership.
Let's get the 'bad' out of the way:
Yes, what you've read about the MIXRs is true: They hurt. They won't make you cry, but I found myself having to take them off every half-hour to forty-five minutes or so - resting for five to ten - then hurrying to put them back on again.
The reason why they're a bit painful is because they're [extremely well] made from some sort of steel and NASA plastic or something. I don't know. Either way, they're extremely durable, very sturdy, and boast an impeccable quality. These characteristics alone make them hurt a lot less.
How do they sound?
I find the sound incredible. Mind you, though - I am not an expert in headphones or sound equipment in general, so I cannot speak on what the MIXRs do NOT do well, but I know great sound when I hear it, and now, I hear it all the time.
The bass - which I personally value the most - punches really hard, but the sound is gentle at the same time. Its incredible. Little nuanced sounds in your favorite songs that you may have, and probably did miss - are accentuated with astonishing clarity.
As for the look:
I have the black ones. They are gorgeous. They're not huge, but they're big enough to cup the entire ear. the iconic 'b' on the side is visible and draws attention. ...a lot of attention - too much, almost. In a good way ...kinda. People ask me all the time where I got them, and I ignore them. Not because I'm rude, but because I the noise-cancellation makes it impossible to hear anything else (which is another great thing about them).
They look like no other, while still flaunting that #beats brand and quality.
I am extremely content with these headphones, they're probably the greatest headphones I've bought in a while that I can truly say are worth the extra money.
