Rated 5 out of 5 by Chucky Great Sound and Great compact Design. Slightly refreshed for 2013 including the Black and White models.
I was looking for every day headphones and was thinking about the Solo HD 2.0's. When I went to the beats store I decided for another $50 I would just get the mixr's. They're the exact same dimension but are lighter more durable since they are made of aluminum and a little easier to make look natural on your head since you can swivel them. When I plugged them in to my iphone I was pleasantly surprised. After all the hate you read on line about beats you think they'll sound only decent. These headphones sound AMAZING! The bass is great the vocals are clear and I hear nothing but music when putting the iphone only a little more than half way up. I have to assume people who hate on these headphones hate the price. I guess they're not made for every one but if you can not afford them or think they're too expensive then you do not need to purchase them. That is understandable. Lastly the mid 2013 versions were slightly refreshed with the limited edition colors but so were the Black, red, and white. You know you got the newest versions if the sides say "mixr" instead of "beats". Also on the inside it will say on the steel badge simply "beats" when it used to say "beats by dre". For some reason the original colors still use the old 2012 boxes when the limited edition have a 2013 copyright on them but as long as you check the spots I've written about you got the newest versions. Make it easy for yourself and just buy them from a beats store since these rarely go on sale any way. These are amazing, stylish and great headphones. If you're on the fence get off and buy these now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Keegan99 Good but a little tight
I have the orange mixrs and I love the sound but you have to adjust them every once in a while to get the right comfort... I've had them since Black Friday and I have a little paint scratch on them and that's it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by casual listener Best way to listen to music
I listen to these every day and they haven't failed me once. They are durable but a little tight. They're uncomfortable after awhile. I spent my bday money on tese with no regret.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dj Skrewball Best Headphone for a DJ
Best Headphone I have ever had, I have been djing for over 10 years, I know a lot of people bought them over the Dr. Dre hype, but he does not let his reputation down with these headphone, I held off of getting them for a long time. I got them as a gift and now regret I didn't buy them sooner. By far THE best for the nightclub scene, I blast my monitor 3 feet away from my and i just put both sides over my ears and hear a clean crisp sound.
