Rated 2 out of 5 by That hissing noise is awful Let me first start by saying I want to be as objective as I can be. On the positive side, the headphones are very comfortable around my ears and head. I feel like they definitely got it right on the style and comfort aspects. On the other hand, the hissing noise that is constantly playing is painful. Whenever a song would end or get quiet, all I could hear was that hissing noise. This is my first pair of beats with a batteries that need to be switched so often. I left them on one night, and the next day they were dead. About a month later I needed to replace the batteries again, and I was extra careful with turning them on and off. I am disappointed because I feel like beats are overpriced and a fad that I ignorantly fell for. I would say If you want to pay 300 bucks go somewhere else. January 23, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by doesn't matter how good the speakers are if the wires don't plug in properly have to have hands of a surgeon to figure out the exact spot for the red wire to go into the headphones for the sound to come out properly. what a huge waste of $! I had bose head phones that were 1/2 the cost and the sound and comfortability was the same.. very disappointed that i purchased these November 27, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Very easy to mess up the sound.. When I was listening to my music on my way to the game, my left cup of my head phone died. I guess they have a tendency to do stuff like that. Otherwise they did have decent sound December 18, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Hissing noise I love the design, but the hissing noise is really annoying and the headband may be uncomfortable for some people. June 17, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Pros and cons As with everything in life, there are pros and cons for these headphones. Pros: Sound is great. Noise canceling feature is okay. Cons: Uses up batteries, about 2-4 AAA batteries each week with 8-hour-a-day use. Uncomfortable, squeezed my head to the point of getting headaches and hurt my ears by the end of the day until I got used to wearing them or they finally stretched to my head size. They were quite stiff and unforgiving. Broke less than a year of use. The right ear piece audio started cutting in and out like there was a bad wire connection and then the swivel piece broke. I honestly wish I could get my money back. Other styles of Beats might be better than this, but I need the noise canceling feature. Therefore, I will not be getting another pair of Beats. Rated 2 out of 5 by Not good value for money i had a Dr. beats studios, and when a saw the executive model i imagined that´s i would have the same sound with ( for me) a better design. disappoint! the bass is not even close to the studio model! is it very uncomfortable and heavy, if you want to use for more than 1 hour flight you get a headache. i´m going back to the store and will try to change for my old and comfortable and studio model! don´t wast your time and money! Rated 2 out of 5 by Batteries, Left side sound, Warranty I purchased the Executives because they were the most comfortable. Issue 1, battery power dies way too fast. Issue 2, Sound on the left side fades until it is completely gone. Have to jack with the red cord to find the right spot to hear left side. Issue 3, still under warranty but NONE in stock and when they are in stock it will take 3-4 weeks for me to get them back. $400 bucks, I should’ve gone with a different brand. I think beats were just so popular so fast that quality suffered. November 22, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good Quality but didn't last I really liked the sound quality of this product, much improved over previous Beats headphones. But there was one major problem, all sound and functionality completely stopped working out of nowhere with no physical or cosmetic damage just after having the headphones for a year. Leaving them half working so it essentially cost $300 to own the headphones in full functionality for a year. And since they were just barely over warranty they wouldn't replace them. So I'm basically out of luck. I would not recommend purchasing these. July 6, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by too much bass, no accurate sound reproduction These things were engineered by the same people that brought you overpriced cables. They sound overly bassy and there is no accurate sound reproduction. On top of that they just feel cheap. Do yourself a favor and do some research before you buy some cans. I didn't and I had to take the time to return these. February 7, 2013
