Rated 2 out of 5 by Chuckie_99 Worked for 4 months then gave out (L).
The headphones were good for about 4 months then the left ear bud started to give and started to slowly faint. So now I a left with one good ear bud and one that doesn't work. Thought that they were a good buy but I am now having mixed feelings about them now

I bought these, took great care of them, they sound excellent, but they're designed terribly, its all metal and hurts your ear, but i got used to them, about 3 months in, the rubber wire covering by the plug came off exposing and inch of wire. I sent them back under warranty, and the new pair sounded great, unfortunately the same thing happened and now the right speaker doesn't work, don't waste your money, get the beats solo

Rated 2 out of 5 by Formerbeatsuser19 It's durability is horrible
These headphones go out fast. My second pair I have now just went out within a year. These headphones should not be going out that fast. These also cost way too much for how they work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by lovedabeats123 Great Features, though needs improvement
I love Beats Headphones and don't mind paying extra for good quality headphones. However the Ur Beats sound amazing but after having them for a couple months the right ear started going out. Then eventually the left. I know it's a cord probably too because when you wiggle the cord the headphones cut in and out. I bought a warranty and will probably get the headphones again because of the sound quality, but it would be nice to have them last longer then a couple months.

Rated 2 out of 5 by XMizerPunkX Good sound. Bad reliability.
I got these headphones last year and I'm on my fourth pair. They have excellent sound quality but the durability has a lot to be desired. The beats warranty is the only reason I'm on my fourth pair, I would definitely not spend the money to get another pair. I'm actually switching over to beats tour. They seem a lot more durable and over all better quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by anotherbluedot To the audiophile and professional musician: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT; To the average consumer: If you like its looks, go ahead and buy it.
Beats by Dre is well praised in the popular culture. The urBeats is an awesome gift for a young adult. It's comfy, looks nice, and is very well constructed. It lacks the sound quality, though, just as all Beats by Dre headphones and earphones. If you are a professional musician or someone who cares about minute details and audio fidelity over looks, then this is definitely NOT for you. If you are a teen or someone who just wants a functional earphone which looks nice but does not necessarily care much for audio quality and price, then I'd say to go ahead buy it. As an audiophile, it's garbage. You can find much better headphones for the same price, so the value isn't here.
PROS: Comfortable, premium feel, functional
CONS: Sound quality, pricing and value

Rated 2 out of 5 by Adam B. Sound great, but can't take any wear or tear
I've been a pretty big supporter of these earbuds; they sounds great, stay in my ears, and are pretty comfortable. But today my second set of UrBeats broke. The same way as the first pair: one earbud just stops playing. The first time this happened I chalked it up to bad luck, any brand of earbuds will have bad sets out there. I was happy the warranty covered the first pair, and in a few weeks I had a new set.
It has been about 6 months since I got my replacement set and the new pair just did the exact same thing, one earbud just stops working. I use my earbuds a lot, so that's how I justified spending $100 on them. But for $100 and being marketed as "durable", they should be able to last more than 6 months. I've learned my lesson, don't buy these.
