Rated 1 out of 5 by Only worked for a short time I ordered the powerbeats. They worked well for music but began to not be responsive to the volume control then the phone function (microphone) began to produce a great deal of static. I returned them and received a new pair. The second pair worked well for three (3) days. I guess they don't like Sweat. I only wear them when working out so that is the only time they can be effected. Not a good product it they have to be replaced every two or three weeks. If it doesn't work, its not a good product. August 20, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Simply not durable and the sound isn't worth the price you pay. Little support. These are good earphones. But not premium. The sound is good, but not overwhelmingly so. They are comfortable and stay on your ear well for the most part. The controls and microphone are not durable at all. My microphone went dead after a short time and my in-line remote works intermittently. All this combined makes me regret my purchase and makes me wish I'd given more time to consider other brands. Rated 1 out of 5 by Great sound horrible product Don't waste your money headphone will not last long these things blow out constantly I went thru 2 pair I will not purchase these ones ever again find another headphone cause the powerbeats are a waste of money!!!! September 11, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Skip these and get the Tour Cannot handle the sweat!! Skip these and go for Tour. I went through 4 pairs!! September 20, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Made for Athletes! These Earphones had potential. They have pretty good design with fitted comfort, but were not made for athletes. One drop of sweat on the remote control and it stops working! You can't use them for any form of exercises were you will sweat, in other words, athletes can't use them at all! after all, weren't these earphones specifically targeted for athletes? It's ironic how the activity that these earphones target is exactly the cause for them to malfunction. False advertisement? September 29, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by UTTERLY DISAPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED - DON'T BUY THEM I just bought them, wore them for three days and my ears hurt. They are sooooo uncomfortable. If you want good sound you have to jam them into your ear, but in 10 minutes your ear is sore. I tried all three ear buds but none work. The sound is not what I expected for $150. I'm so frustrated because I can't wear them anymore because they are so uncomfortable. I'm very disapointed with this brand, I heard it was one of the best, and bought them happily but honestly I feel so ripped off I'm never getting near this brand again. October 23, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't buy these to work out! After paying this kind of money for a set of ear phones to "WORK OUT" in, you would expect them to have no issues. Not the case with these, sweating definitely effects the controls and sometimes songs skip to other songs but themselves. I listen to a lot of instructional workouts and skipping tracks is just plain UNSAT! I would not recommend these for the purpose they were designed for. I was excited to purchase these but now just find them sitting on the shelf. November 23, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Mic and volume control/song skip stopped working So, the buttons on the wire that you use to adjust the volume and change songs/answer calls stopped working after only using them once. I can't figure out how to get it to work again. I think my sweat must have done something to it. Bummer. November 25, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Good Sounds, Poor Quality I am presently on my third pair of Powerbeats and fresh out of the box the Control Talk didn't work. The other two pair merely couldn't handle working out the few times I did because of the Control Talk dying and killing the headphone it is attached to. I find it totally ridiculous that they couldn't handle at the most 15 work outs. I would definitely not recommend you purchase them. I REPEAT, I would not recommend you purchase them. Rated 1 out of 5 by Absolutely terrible. I had these for christmas 2011. I mainly liked them because they were sports earphones and they did what it said on the box, however, the wire coming out of the jack started to fray a little. I was quite concerned about this but i carried on using them around college. a week or so later, the cable started to fray a little more and then the left earpiece failed. I am furious about this product, didnt take much for them to fail. These are meant to be durable and long lasting, lasted me a month. Extremely dissapointed. January 29, 2012
