Rated 2 out of 5 by Not as durable as they should be! I purchased these to replace a cheaper pair of earbuds that kept falling out of my ear while running. The sound is definitely superior to any earbuds that I've had in the past. I do a lot of running and working out at the gym (approx. 4-5 times a week). After 4 months of use, the right ear just quit playing one day while I was at the gym. They were replaced by the manufacturer's warranty. I also purchased an extedned warranty from the local retailer which didn't even come into play apparently. I hope this was just one of those things! While the sound is great as well as the fit, if I continue to have problems with intense work-outs, I would recommend to anyone interested to forget these and go with a much cheaper pair. These are probably fine for the person who sits on an airplane or at home from time to time. Just not the durability I would expect from a Dr. Dre product. February 19, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by GREAT SOUND POOR ENGINEERING OK sound quality is amazing, but other than that its a waste of [$] for a product that is advertised for active people.. been through 3 pairs already.. they need to be more rugged and tough.. like kobe says be the black swan!! cmon dre!! Rated 2 out of 5 by STATIC OUTHEWAZOO I loved these headphones on day 1. The sound quality really is bomb. However, when you put them in gym shorts(their intended use) they sound like their blown and get really annoying. Great Sound but they need to redesign the headphones and someone else besides LBJ needs to endorse them. March 7, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by DONT WORKOUT IN THEM First, i have a pair of Studio Beats for over a year and still couldnt be happier with them, but i decided to try the PowerBeats to workout with and YOU Cannot workout in them at all, Remote broke with in one week of buying, and randomly fast forwards and pauses songs, after a month, the left ear does not work at all, took great care of them always putting them in case after use. Not Happy, returning them in the morning April 3, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by not for me these headphones have no noise isolation so the outside world doesnt let you experience the complete sound. the bass is not as great as they as claim to be. its a problem to get them in your ear correctly. i dont recommend tjo May 3, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Horrible for the price & hype!! I brought these headphones solely for the gym. I was trying to hold back my negative comments after my first replacement, however the 2nd replacement have now seemed to fail me now. I use the headphones when they are in working order, and they have seemed to grow on me, however they seem to be out of service more than they are in service so my frustrations have now boiled over. All and all I hope this doesn't spoil your purchase, but I'd save my money knowing what I know now. May 5, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Do not buy this product. I like to workout on a daily basis, which is what initially attracted me to these headphones. Two pairs of headphones later, I realized these things just can't keep up with an active lifestyle. My first pair lasted about 3 weeks before one side of the headphones burned out and the volume/pause controls stopped working. I exchanged them thinking I happened to get a faulty pair only to find that the left earbud on my latest pair stopped working as well. Well great, so much for working out. If you DO happen to purchase these, GET THE WARRANTY. You will need it. The best thing I can say about these is that they sound good...until they stop working. May 8, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Well, they worked once... They worked one time, i was not that impressed with the sound, even compared to my iPhone Buds. Thought maybe it was because they needed to be broken in, but the 2nd day i tried to use them, they are making my phone go nuts! Rapidly changing songs, launching voice control, the mic never worked, and now the volume control won't work. May 15, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not worth the hassle I bought theses headphone in hopes of having durable listening while I ran. The headphones worked well until the right speaker started going in and out. I returned the headphones and got a new pair. The day I received those i used them and the mic did not work. So I returned the headphones and got my money back. These headphones are too expensive to have these problems. Not a good look for the Beats brand. I have heard about similar problems with the other models from Beats. May 17, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nice but not durable Great sound. Absolutely loved them then after a couple months one side went completely out. Spent way too much money for them to be so cheaply made. No durability at all. That's sad. May 21, 2011
